Ariana Grande will no longer appear in American Horror Story Season 13 after plans changed behind the scenes. Reports indicate that scheduling conflicts made it impossible for her to remain part of the production as the show’s filming timeline shifted.
The decision comes before any of her scenes were filmed. The updated production schedule reportedly overlapped with commitments tied to her ongoing Eternal Sunshine tour, leaving no practical way to continue with the project.
Grande had been announced as part of the cast, making the role a highly anticipated return to working with creator Ryan Murphy after their previous collaboration. Her addition had generated excitement among both music fans and longtime viewers of the horror anthology series.
Even with the casting change, Season 13 is expected to move forward with several familiar faces from the franchise returning for the new installment. The series has built a reputation for bringing back popular cast members while introducing new stories and characters each season.
Production is continuing, and the new season is still expected to premiere later this year.
