Fox Valley Literacy to celebrate the “Faces of Literacy”

Community celebration and fundraising dinner gala to feature new program lineup with singer/songwriter Adriel Danae and Celebrity Emcee, Stacy Engebretson

Fox Valley Literacy invites the community to attend Faces of Literacy, A Community Celebration and Fundraising Gala. The event will take place on Thursday, October 17 at The Grand Meridian, Appleton, beginning at 5 PM.

Formerly known as Celebration of Achievement, the annual fundraising event celebrates the life-changing power of learning and its positive impact on the community. This year’s event will offer an exciting new program featuring Celebrity Emcee and NBC26 anchor, Stacy Engebretson and recording artist Adriel Danae. The organization will also present its first ever Literacy Champion Award to The Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region. Additionally, the event will include student success stories, a silent auction, and a raffle featuring a Jordy Nelson framed autographed jersey.

Individual seating is $50; tables of 8 are $350. For more information or to make a reservation, visit fvlc.net. The deadline is October 11.

Proceeds from the event will support programs and services that help adults building skills, learning English, working toward their GED, U.S. citizenship or occupational goals. Fox Valley Literacy serves approximately 500 adult learners each year.
